In 2025 ‘Screams By The Sea’ awarded it's second winning screenplay with a production deal. Mark Walker's screenplay "DRIVE IN" is now with Silent D Pictures.
The festival invites budding screenwriters to submit their original, self-contained, horror feature film screenplays for the chance to win a production deal with Silent D Pictures. Four of the best screenplays will be shortlisted and the writers invited to pitch their stories to the audience of the festival where one screenplay will be awarded - Best Screenplay award.
